What do you even mean by this? You probably aren’t discussed for all of 30 seconds at CRT like everyone else.
Notice periods, sometimes also called gardening leave particularly in British Commonwealth nations, vary greatly around the world. India’s IT industry, for example, has a 90 day notice period.
Then you leave two weeks later? What’s the relevance of CRT here? Sorry if I’m missing something.
You are leaving. Why are you expecting promotion? I am so confused.
Sorry, what is CRT? Round table?
Gotcha, thank you
The day you put your notice- whether it’s 3 months or 2 weeks- you are ineligible for raise, promotion, and bonus. The Round table or performance assessment is to discuss all three of them. Hence, if you put notice, they will skip you and not waste a single second on you. Probably even filter you out of the list as well.
The CRT date doesn’t matter when it comes to resigning. Either you wait until you have the promotion/bonus/increment you want formally notified ie. in writing or you forgo it.
The firm isn’t likely to give a resignee anything they haven’t committed to in writing, even if it was discussed/agreed at the CRT, when it could go to someone who is staying.
Probably skip you
