This is what is so scary about this disease. We don't know what's going to happen.

I think we're looking at 12 to 18 months before we're anywhere near normal again.

like

I can't even remember what normal feels like

like

I too forget what normal feels like, every day is anxiety and panic.

I’m a veteran, and I’m now eligible for the Covid vaccine. Managed to snag an appointment. My wife also got hers this morning — she’s eligible as an educator. They made her fill out and sign an attestation form, saying she’s eligible. There is nowhere on the attestation form to say that you are eligible as a veteran. Do I check a different box, write in “other”, or lie on the form? I wasn’t willing to lie about my eligibility, but it seems silly to be held back by a form that’s not up to date.

Our company made us go back to the office and a week later I tested positive for Covid. I’m pretty certain I got it at the office because I didn’t attend any events and I was in close contact with someone at the office who was confirmed positive 5 days earlier. I’m really mad and because this affects my whole life at moment I was hit pretty hard. What can I do? Has anyone been in the same situation?

I work for a small firm, 2 attorneys and 3 support staff. Soon to be 2 support since my homie is leaving me.
The dynamic in the office is terrible. Its always something there, usually bad. I have anxiety and depression. On top of heightened life situations, the stress in the office hurt me this week. I took of yesterday and today for a mental health break and now my boss is guilt-tripping and shaming me.

Is there anything I can do? I’m medicated and have taken therapy for years.

This is a question for healthcare HR. I was exposed at work to an employee who tested covid positive after our shift. We were told 4 days after that this employee was positive and hospitalized. I was encouraged to test and was told after the test that the recommendation is to quarantine until test results are available. My surgical center said they can not accommodate the time off work. If I stay home and wait for results am I abandoning my job. Thoughts.
