Stuck here. Offer A is 5 days a week in office, commute is not too bad, 95k. Offer B is hybrid two days in office, commute sucks, 100k and better benefits. Really great vibes with the entire team at offer A even though the company is a bit old school. Offer B more progressive company, but I 100% felt like I was the back up's backup and they waited for their top picks to reject before my offer. I know for a fact I was Offer A's first choice.
Why can’t I view the Cost Basis for 401k retirement account? Doesn’t make sense why it’s not an option like it is for brokerage accounts
Hello, anyone from Akamai technologies, Bangalore?? Need some info on the employee benefits (covid benefits). Thank you.
Anyone go from KPMG to PWC? Was wondering if you can speak to how the transfer was regarding any major changes in benefits/perks/etc, and how learning the new firms tech was
Do any other firms offer pension like EY does? And what are the terms? I know EY recently changed the retirement plan but we are still fully vested after 5 years
Just joined a smaller firm who uses Paychex for their 401k provider. I noticed they do not offer too many options for funds to invest in and seems lower end than my prior Schwab 401k offered. 1) Anyone have experience with Paychex and have similar observations? 2) I’m leaning towards doing enough 401k pretax contribution on Paychex to get the company match and then do the rest as a Roth IRA to obtain better investments. Any other options I’m not thinking of?
Which firm benefits/insurance should I enroll and skip? Will elect HSA and firm-paid disability insurance. How about employee critical illness insurance or long term care plan?
As someone with a background in the military, is it worth it to try to go back to the government as a tax analyst or senior tax analyst for the Dept of the Treasury? I'm wondering if I'll have an edge in getting hired as I've been at the GS-13 level before I left the military and I'm hoping I can use that time in service to add to a pension time requirement in the government.
Has anyone had experience adding their old employers 401k account to their new employers 401k? Is this a pretty standard thing?
Working an expo / benefits fair: what have you done that has worked in getting people to your table, and peaking their interest in an appointment? (Details continued in post)

BCG fish I need advice. Currently interviewing for a Consultant level role, they mentioned it was generalist track and it’s located in the south region. If I have experience and an affinity to work within healthcare would I be able to network and get staffed on healthcare engagements regardless of region? Don’t want to get stuck in energy work or another industry if that’s what ends up happening. Boston Consulting Group

Anyone know what the salary range is for a Product Strategy associate salary at Tik Tok?
I just got a job offer from PWC for a similar role I’m in and it was below my current salary. Yes I know I can negotiate but my main questions are how often is overtime a thing for an investigator on salary. What is the promotion and turn over rate and climate truly like in the Columbia office?
Hi I was planning on applying to Blackrock for their Corporate strategy and development summer internship program. Could someone help me understand the job responsibilities better?
Do Accenture really have a proper recruitment process? had interview with Accenture yesterday. the person who interviewed me didn't ask for questions. No qsns frm basics r any process related, i have 5 years of exp in SAP SD, I am in to support and i clearly mentioned in my resume. that dumb keep on asking have I done any developments or any implementation experience.. i explained the tickets we get in our project he don't even care to listen to me. A partner said on a client call that we really miss an associate I’m filling in for and that the team should be up to speed when she gets back. I can’t help feeling a bit slighted by that. I get that she’s much more senior (I’m a 1st year who started a couple of months ago) but I don’t think I’ve done a bad job at all. My first brief was spot on arguments wise and didn’t have much redlines. Am I reading too much into it? Should I check in with him to ask if he’s unhappy with my work?
Thoughts on small investments? I'm fairly new to this, I'm 25 years old, given the situation of the country I live, I can only save like USD 200 monthly. I finished paying my Master this month, so I estimate I could save approximately the double of that. I currently have saved 1k USD. At which amount and where do you think I could start investing to generate passive income? My goal is not to depend financially on my salary, because the economy of my country is not in a desirable situation...
Fun fact that consultants will appreciate: The weight of the Liberty Bell equals the number of billable hours in the year. 2,080 lbs. Can anyone else “wow” us with a fun fact?
