What has been your best response to an annoying client?

Creative Circle made me meet them in person at their office, fill out their paper work, called all my references only to blast me daily with junior level roles. I’m a fool. I’m a fool in man’s shoes.

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

What should I do? People say that I'm lucky to get paid without doing any work, but it is stressing me out. I need the experience. The uncertainty is freaking me out, with rumours of layoffs and the certification program and all.

How do I get into a project? How long do I have to wait more?

When should I tell my boss/team that I’m expecting? I’m fully remote and don’t have to worry about “showing” at work, but want to give my colleagues ample heads up without jumping the gun too soon

There’s one white, female associate on my floor who I’m friendly with, however, whenever she talks to me she always finds a way to bring up race/diversity. Not in a bad way, it’s mostly just complaining about how poor the diversity is at our firm or bringing up her diversity-related law school extracurriculars. I’ve seen & heard her interact with (white) associates and partners a million times, even in convos complaining about firm issues, without ever raising these topics. Justifiably annoyed?

As a salesperson I generally take the approach of keeping my opinions to myself, if a customer asks me something directly I'm not going to lie to them I'll share what I believe in a respectful way. In other words I don't try to force my views on anyone, but lately our world seems to be more and more polarized on everything, and everyone is offered just by knowing you don't share the same views as they do they can't imagine their opinion isn't the only one. How are you handling these situations?

I moved from India to Canada 2yrs back. I am happy here, enjoying work, new place and new lifestyle. But, even after 2yrs of being in a new country I have no social life. Couldn't meet anyone new as it's a work from home situation. There are a few meetup groups but being an introvert that I am, it's hard to make friends this way.
