For the people genuinely interested in how to be a better ally or step into the role of a co-conspirator, first of all, thank you. I thought this video provided a really helpful example that illuminates the difference between the two.
I’ll respond to any questions or thoughts that are made in good faith.

How about just starting with the fact that most POC just need a leader that makes them feel like they belong here, and are treated with the same dignity and respect as any American.
You do realise that you don’t need to dole out special packages to and legislate bills aimed at POC don’t you? The system works well to provide opportunities to everyone. You just need a respectful environment where everyone can leverage that.
When Trump came to power in 2016, hate crimes increased with more people emboldened to openly express their racist beliefs and white supremacist ideas. While these people haven’t gone anywhere, it is just good to know that Biden isn’t someone that empowers them anymore.
I’m guessing the first POC VP in history is nothing? Yikes.
Biden has acknowledged the Tulsa Race Massacre. That’s progress to me. Recognizing a very clear event where successful black people were murdered by their white neighbors, post-Jim Crow.
I literally had never heard of it until watching Watchmen, and I went to supposedly “good” schools. It’s embarrassing, but I’m glad we’re finally making it better known. Makes one wonder what other skeletons are in the closet though.

Denounce hate crimes on Asian Americans instead of repeating “China Virus” and “Kung flu”

This isn’t done though. This is a pledge.

WHY HASNT BIDEN SOLVED RACISM YET?!?
Enthusiast
There is already hate crime legislation on the books covering all races, religions, etc. The latest bill was not specific to Asians in its coverage, but did cite the rise in COVID-related hate crimes as its impetus.

Jan 20th: signed E.O. 13985 to study issues of inequity across the federal govt. Created union issues working group. Jan. 26th E.O. ordering DoJ not to renew contracts with private prisons. Nominated diverse candidates for high level positions in his administration including Cabinet, judiciary, and 1500 jobs not requiring Senate confirmation. April 8th: announced initiatives to reduce gun violence. April 12th: George Floyd Policing Act. 100 million Americans vaccinated (COVID disproportionately affects POC).

What would he have done had George not been murdered, that’s the real question

Of course, most of the major anti-racism reforms Biden wants to enact are being blocked in congress by racist republicans and the racists that elect them.
The single biggest thing we could to do improve the lives of POCs in America is eradicate modern conservatism and remove republicans from power anywhere and everywhere.

And don’t forget, the Republican and Trump voters grew minority votes specifically among black communities in the last election.

When you set the bar so low the only way is up. Those levels went back to the same as Romney 2012.

More in his pinky finger than Trump
I think this question requires a little more framing. When asking what “x” president did for POCs, we must look at their records and how their policies have benefited underserved communities. Biden's only been in office for like 5 months and he already issued several health equity executive orders to ensure health departments focus on advancing equity. The American Rescue Plan invested funds in several areas that benefit many underserved community, such as expanding the Child Tax Credit and investing more in our education system (not to mention other policies in the jobs and families plans that would uplift disenfranchised POC groups if some versions on the bills pass). Ofc there's more to do, but this is a good first step - far better than what trump ever did for minority folks in 4 years
??Lol what? Unemployment increased drastically the last year of Trump’s presidency. Granted it was bc of Covid, which as we all know disproportionately impacted POCs (health-wise and the recession/job loss). And it was Trump’s restrained response to the pandemic exacerbated these inequities. And the fact that you're chalking up his little success to Obamas policy shows he doesn't have much of a positive record with POCs. There's still a lot more than most be done, but def better than trump with pocs thus far

OP, real question. Which senator in the last 40 years do you feel has done enough for POC to deserve some credit?
Biden’s baked potatoes at the border.
