Hi all, I was recently impacted by layoffs and hoping for some leads for Sr. HRBP, or similar, roles either remote or in the Greenville, SC area.
8 years of progressive HR experience in tech/media, e-commerce, insurance, and mining/manufacturing.
Have primarily been an individual contributor but have led COE teams of 4 on two separate occasions.
Experienced in creating HR structure very quickly in US/UK. Have unique and successful experience in the contact center space, as well.
So I recently shifted to HYD and I need to claim my brokerage amount reimbursement and in order to do that I need to submit my rental agreement (which I have) but I don’t have a brokerage receipt- the broker isn’t responding. What should I do?
Is it a good idea to aggressively pay off mortgage (after maxing out 401k) or invest in mutual funds and take advantage of low mortgage rates?
How do y’all maintain composure and not ramble/stumble over your words when you have to give a presentation or answer executive questions? I just joined a new company 2 months ago and on Monday, the assistant of the Executive Vp of the entire org put a meeting on my calendar because my director was on PTO. I was told to give an overview of the program and to answer program questions. I stuttered and rambled like an idiot and am still cringing thinking about it days later. Ahhh I sounded so dumb
About to start work travel again and will be traveling to WA from NY. Also, going to Asia in a few weeks for vacation (Cathay flight). I have a bit of points on AA. But thinking if I should switch to Alaska or Cathay? Idk if it matters and am new to this so hoping someone can steer me in thinking this out
How does one resign? My office has announced RTO June 1st 3days a week. Last week I was hating the job and was looking for a sign to move on.. this is it.
I am going on vacation June 15-30th. If possible I’d still like to get my PTO days in. Do I give my two weeks the day I come back? Should I talk to my manager now and let them know I’m wavering so they have time to react? I have specific duties that will need to be reassigned.
I want the best for me but don’t know what is best for team
How is Accenture's Salesforce practice doing? Were there any concerning layoffs? Joining the firm soon.
About the recent layoffs, I have not seen people from India posting such, about getting laid off from so n so company!?
Does the Indian Side of org, suffers equally when there's mass layoff from some good organizations?
Or is it like, the Indian side is employeed at far less packages, so to trim down from this side doesn't really have an affect?
Can someone please guide me on things to know beforehand to better plan my onboarding at Deloitte? E.g. stuff about phone expense, good to know things etc. which you wish you would have known before. Is the week of July 4 a firm shutdown week or is it just the July 4 holiday ? I will likely be joining D sometime next month and would appreciate any pointers you all can provide.
Hello all, i have. A question regarding compensation for a lateral move. I just received a job offer for an UA position from a competing cyber insurance carrier for $70,000 + bonuses. This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? Thoughts in general?
I constantly feel like I’m on the verge of being fired. I’ve felt this way at every agency I’ve ever worked for. I wish I could just feel comfortable.
What's next after healthcare for you all?
When is it either allowed or seen as OK to start using FTO? I recently started here and while I’m not looking to slack off and take time off, I just want to know how it works. (Plus, I don’t want to not use something that I can or should use.) Elementary stuff, I know. But I’ve freelanced my whole career until now. Thanks
Does McKinsey Tokyo health insurance coverage include visits in another country? For example if someone is hired by Japan from the US but has a medical procedure that may need a follow up visit in the US. Thanks!

Can any Infosys Senior Consultants shed light on this? My tentative salary discussion with HR was done on 9-May, i agreed to the salary they proposed, after that they said i'll get offer letter in 2-3 weeks. It has been more than a month now, yet there is no update. On their careers portal, the status is "Review in progress". I followed up with HR a couple of times, they just said they will 'update me soon'. Should i take it that it is not coming now?

Recently diagnosed and prescribed Adderall. I’m just now connecting the dots between poor executive function and low dopamine with lifelong food issues (overeating, all or nothing dieting, etc).
With medication, I feel like I can maybe get a handle on my habits. With that said - what have you noticed works best for you? Taking morning meds with food or fasted? When do you eat and how do you structure your diet?

Needing words of encouragement from people they are in consulting. It took me months of applying for consulting jobs, hundreds of rejections, before I got my first consulting job. I got laid off. Now I am having the same difficulty in finding a job.Rejections from every consulting firm, even firms that are still hiring during these times. Consulting is what I want to do. I did not give up when I was looking for a consulting job. I am not going to give up on consulting. Hope to find another job.
Does anyone else absolutely hate talking to recruiters to turn down roles? I had two offers come in, had to turn one down. Spent 30 minutes with recruiter saying no thank you, then he put 30 minutes on my calendar with the hiring manager. Then a couple of people that I interviewed with texted and emailed me to see if I could talk. I’m trying to my gracious and thankful, but saying no just gives me so much anxiety because I’m a true conflict avoider
Have a 3 interviews with EY Friday AM. Recruiter has yet to send me the invite. Reached out Monday and she mentioned she was working to schedule and still on for Friday. Still nothing... Do you think the recruiters going to try to re-schedule/flake?
I have 1 offer and another pending, and a few more initial / second round interviews lined up for other companies over the next week. I am currently on the bench, but being staffed on a project starting 4/4. I am excited about the pending offer, but keep getting this nagging sense if I waited a bit longer, I could potentially have better or more money. On the other end, I am worried about starting a project and putting my 2 weeks in shortly after, so I feel like the time is now. Thoughts??
