Awaiting the processing of visa extension which has been filed since 2 months. Firm has approved upgrading to premium but also stated that there is higher chance of RFE if upgraded. Is that true?

Hi guys, what is the average wait time currently for UK visa issuance from the day of vfs appointment?

I had my scheduled appointment today and was told there is long wait time by a personnel. However my COS PwC told it is doable for a person joining on September 1st week. Would like to know how much accurate their words are .

Worked super hard in the US for 11 years, finally was about to get green card, I got laid off. What has my life become? I can’t feel more like a failure. If I can’t find a job that sponsors work visa for me in 3 months, the past decade would be the proof of my yet another horrible investment. Damn, universe, what are you trying to teach me?! I am current interviewing with Visa and they started the background check before the final round. The recruiter called me saying she’s already have an offer ready but I have to go through one final interview with the VP. However, he has been out of the office for the past two weeks. She mentioned they are not interviewing anyone else for the position, but I keep seeing the position being posted over and over again on LinkedIn. Any thoughts? I have other offers in the table.

My H1B will expire in august and I am about to join a new firm who will be filing for my H1B transfer and my current firm is starting my H1B extension as well. This would mean both the firms will be simultaneously working on the extension. Would that impact my process? Or are both independent?

If you have a valid visa stamping till Sep 2022 and you are unable to find a job in the 60-day grace period, can you use the same stamping to reenter the US after another employer files for an H1B transfer? Thanks in advance!

Hi Guys, I am in the process of procuring canadian PR. How easy is it to get internal transfer. In the hindsight, i also hold an offer of almost 70% hike from these two companies and already put down the papers.

HR is saying they will tag me to canadian project for now until i get the PR and will process onsite further.

What would the wise thing to do ? Stay back and explore internal opprtunities or move out and explore opportunities from elsewhere ?
