GDS Non Assurance folks, I would advise you all to not make your expectations based upon what assurance folks got. FYI, Audit folks were already sitting at 30-40% low compared to other Big 3 & Leadership has already admitted that over call, hence, they have given good hikes on previous CTC where people were highly underpaid. Also consulting, advisory works differently where every individual's case is different based upon their qualifications, brand value of College & YOE & previous organisation. Also most importantly in Consulting/ Advisory each firm is unique positioned in market & hence are their paybands. But in Audit there is no difference in anyone's case, all folks hold similar qualification (B Com & a Professional Qualification) & past experience comes from another Big 5-6 (which are considered to be par) & hence very difficult for HRs to justify difference in pay parity. Hope this will help some of the folks, especially from Consulting/ Advisory practices.
