What impact would having kids early vs later in your career have? Can kind of see things going either eay

I have seen people do best having them later, especially as a woman. Once you are in a more management position. it gives you more freedom to take time off/make it to dinner on time, and you also have made SURE that you get somewhere, and then if the growth is slower when you have them, at least you've made your mark for yourself so far.

I think it's always better to have them later. You have more power in your role, and you have more money, and you have more wisdom at life, and your priorities have probably naturally shifted.

I am a project manager with the strong desire to transition into product management but I’m feeling a little discouraged. Every opportunity I come across mentions 7-10 years experience. Thanks in advance!

3) Have you had to align your interviews so that the offers would come in close/same day? What's your strategy?

4) What's your process in weighing [multiple] offers? If that ever happens? Where do you keep your notes?

Hypothetical: If you are new to a job and working part time on a startup and your team was accepted into Y Combinator, would you quit your job so you could go full time for the three months? How well do you take compliments or words of recognition?

Growing up, receiving verbal recognition and praise was just .. not a thing. In my current 1:1s with my manager, he's recognizing and thanking me for all I'm doing since I joined 2 months ago - I say thank you but then self-sabatoge after by saying something I think I'm disrupting the team on. He never brings it up or agree to those comments.

How should one respond aside from "thank you"? Do I say smthg nice abt him or the team?

What are your thoughts about having to take an iq/personality assessment tests? It seems so outdated to me. I don’t think it predicts how you will truly perform at a job. I took a test like this for a startup once and they were concerned about my ability to speak up or behave in social settings. This was completely false. I present, interview clients, demo products, and facilitate meetings for a living. So what if I go home and shut down after work? I’m exhausted from speaking all day!
