What is a decent diversification of large, mid, small-cap, and international stock? I.e. 65 large, 10 mid, 5 small, 20 international?

Thanks! I can almost recreate it via one of the fidelity options. I don't have the mid cap version recommended available though. Is there a boglehead recommended split between US and international?

What about VT.

Unfortunately not an option in my 401(k) selections :/. Closest I believe I can do is Fid 500 Index for large-cap, Fid mid-cap stock class K for mid, Fid small-cap index for small, and Fid international index for intl.

Say I want to do a major renovation on my house. Are there banks that would offer a loan (HEL or mortgage, don't care which) over 95% of the current appraised value of the house?

If we did it, we'd be adding a bedroom, bathroom, and garage, and we would be increasing square footage by about 75%. House currently worth around $400k with $260k left on the mortgage; future comps are worth about $650k. Best guess is it is a $200k renovation.

Are there any student loan refinance programs in US that helps to sponsor closure of loans from India (specifically Credila student loan)?

Hi All. I moved to a new company , I just got my take home salary and my current pay is less that previous pay ,because of different state and other taxes. My new company is better but the pay is demotivating me . It is almost $500 less per biweekly pay check . What to do get out of the demotivation? I wouldn't have minded the same pay , but $1000 less /month is a lot !

A question for hiring managers out there: how important are follow-ups right after an interview? I feel like I’m just being pushy for a response when I send one, even though it’s really just to thank them for their time. Has anyone found that it stands out when someone does this? Or does it have the opposite effect, like it’s unnecessary? Thanks!

Getting a home (for what we believe is a good deal for the area) but it’s at least 1/3 of our monthly take home or even half because of the interest rates. The home will cost us about $3600 a month (mortgage, insurance, tax, financing repairs, etc) while we’re a DINK and our take home is about $9k/mo. This number doesn’t include groceries or food. We’re most likely going to rent out a room for about $800/mo.
