Consulting vets, normal? I was lured into consulting and lost benefits due to the challenging transformation program being right up my alley. I have a multi year contract with heavy director duties promising fast track to Sr leadership. Day 1 I find out Iead no one and the MD is in charge. A few months later I get involved in spending nights and weekends for 3 weeks making a 60+ page deck. Company wins part of the contract and hires 12 more. Since then I have been ignored by them. No bonus!

My firm has not announced any raises yet even though the market has gone up (A LOT) and firms in the area all have done so. I’ve decided to demand a raise to the compensation committee. But struggling to come with a number. I’m class of 2014 but have gone on four maternity leaves 😂. Any suggestions???? I’m in a smaller city (not CA/NYC/DC etc) and at a pretty big regional firm.
Looking for a Sr People Ops Manager for late stage startup. About 350 employees. Fully remote. 5 years management experience leading People Ops teams. Competitive salary + equity. DM if you are interested.

What are the top employment and/or compensation issues GCs find themselves dealing with in the last year with the rise of remote work?
Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? I have approx. 3.5 YOE (non-consulting), MBA and MS degree (non target school) and also SHRM certified (which is probably irrelevant for the role but thought I’d share anyways). Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!
Anyone have EY raise % or bonus bands /estimates for seniors or managers at a 4 or 5 rating in PI? Know formal comp calls won't happen for another few weeks...
Can you negotiate salary for full time associate offers in big 4 right now? Does it look insensitive?

Currently an M2 in consulting with 8YOE (no MBA). If I am looking to interview for a role at Amazon for a Senior Program Manager, would that be an L6 or L7 role? Trying to gauge the total comp I should be stating to the recruiter.

Does PWC pay for MBA? Is it Full or Partial?
Recent undergrad campus hires: any advice you’d give your interviewer on what you liked/didn’t like about their interview style?
Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls
Is Salesforce interviewing everyone in the world? Building quite a professional war chest, by spending quite the war chest. My hunch is that the bullish hiring, will be followed by a bearish layoff season.
I really like my current agency, but was passed up for a promotion and another agency came knocking and made a very solid offer. Only reason I’d leave my current agency is money, and I wanna stay at my current shop, but was taught to never take a counter offer. The grass isn’t always greener, but the money is. What do I do?
Can y’all confirm someone’s gender + interest before sliding into their DM’s please. Very out of pocket behavior. M here, tired of random men sliding into my DM’s and being weirdos. Same with y’all women. My DM’s are a safe, respectful place. Be. Nice.
Okay if you’re applying to other places and don’t want anyone to know, who the hell do you put down for a reference?
I did the medical exam for my GC last week. It turns out I tested positive for Tuberculosis. Has anyone else gone through this? How does it impact your Greencard application?
I’m currently a senior accountant and I mainly focus on accruals and expense analysis. Prior to this role I was in State & Local Tax. I wasn’t sure if tax is where I wanted to be at the time especially because I heard you can get pigeonholed. I actually kind of miss the work that I used to but also found tax can be very mentally challenging. I’m struggling with trying to decide if I should go back to tax or maybe use my current experience to go into FP&A or a Finance related role. Advise please!
Over agency life? We’re currently hiring a Creative Director for our Watson Health team. Healthcare experience preferred but not required. You would be responsible for some new brand work coming up on the horizon for exciting new launches. Great leadership time and no one works after 5 PM. DM me if interested
77 hours from the next super bonus tier. I have about 25 pro bono hours that I could do, and I have about 12 billable hours that I will do. No real Christmas plans. Worth scrounging up those last 40?
For sign on/relocation bonus - is it typical IB firms put a clause on that? Meaning would they make you pay back if you leave the firm within certain time frame, etc. ? Thanks!
