What's a good salary range for a project manager/production manager role 6-8 years experience ?
Received offer from KPMG lighthouse advisory associate role. Whats the starting salary range? Do they respond to counter offer?
Is it more impressive to make manager in 2.5 years at the same firm or move to a different big 4. Im S1, got an offer from another big 4 to be a manager but my firm (also a big 4) wants to make me a manager and match the salary immediately. Assuming the work would be similar, what would look better on my resume? Goal is to make director as quickly as possible and go in-house.
Getting offers for a similar role and comp for Data platforms at Adobe and Salesforce. Which one would you go for?
Hi! Can anyone share offers they have negotiated for a program manager role at Facebook, google and/or sales force? Or similar companies. Almost 11 years of management consulting experience. Total comp including base, rsu and any bonuses would help!!
SC1 at D 138K (10-15% bonus) to M1 A Strategy 177K (6-10% bonus) is not a move that I should overthink right?
PwC I think our (up to) $20,000 referral bonus (for getting in a senior manager/director to the global mobility services group) seems to show more a sign of desperation especially as competitors offer $3,000-$4,000 for a senior manager referral bonus. What’s the deal? Have a certain number of that experience level been promised in the sale of the practice?
Corporate strategy (associate level) salary in SF? Not much salary information found on Google search other than for SWE.
Is taking a job at Deloitte worth a 5k salary cut to get the name on my resume? Thinking of working there for two years then exiting to somewhere better.

Question about mentorship: in formal mentorship relationships (for ex. Where your mentor is a partner you work for and there is no personal friendship or friendliness), how often would you expect to meet/ talk to your mentor? And what kind of issues do you think should be discussed or not discussed? For ex. If I’m facing a particular issue while working with another member of our team, or I think my bonus needs to be extra good this year, are those topics that would be appropriate to discuss?
1. Interviewing with Slalom Consulting next week, but know I’m moving from the area in about a year. What are the chances I could transfer offices at that point? 2. Slalom salary for 10yoe, including nonMBA masters? Solidly SC level?
I’ve been trying to leave as a senior but can’t find a chill company where I can work normal 9-6 hours and make a decent salary. Looking to work in FP&A or accounting. Currently make $100K and want to move to leave. Where do I go without taking a pay cut?
Fired from big law and still unemployed 8 months out. I’m a mid level transactional associate. Is my legal career over?
Anyone use loans for renovation on a flip before? I’m looking for about $20K to work with and am debating taking it from my 401K vs loans
Hey y’all - I have a large amount (think $20K +) of credit card debt. I recently finished grad school and have enough to pay it all off, but a lot of my money is in stocks, mutual funds, etfs, etc. Should I just liquidate and pay down the CC debt ASAP? Should I consolidate the CC debt into another loan? Curious how folks have thought about the right balance of debt vs investment.
Raised in a low income family, I saw my mom work multiple min-wage jobs, live paycheck to paycheck, sit at the table balancing the checkbook, stressing, hiding the fact that she was crying,. My resulting work ethic and emphasis on career has given me a job I'm excited about daily, an ok salary ( a bit below market rate, yet beyond anything I ever imagined) and my NW has passed $800k. I am thankful daily and have everything I need, but I feel guilty and selfish around my parents and siblings.
Currently at Deloitte with 1 year exp, just received an offer to join mbb. People who are happy that the office is become WFH should reconsider. You stop building meaningful relantionships at home and things just become transactional
What is Mck like in terms of inclusivity? Just got an offer. But nervous about all the whiteness i saw. Any 🐠 willing to share about the culture?
Is there any healthcare analytics job that requires a top secret clearance? Like I want to get a TS but I have seen a lot of projects dont need a TS for healthcare.
Does anyone here have experience working as a PM for a non-profit? I have an interview with one that I would love to be a part of. I can’t find much information online regarding salary expectations. I am willing to take a pay cut to join a non-profit I am passionate for. That being said - I’m trying to balance knowing it may be lower with not accepting a low-ball offer due to lack of information.
Can anybody suggest any books or resources to get smart on medical device marketing and/or medical device manufacturing?

Currently working in tax consulting at a big4 considering making the switch to strat consulting since I have internship experience at an MBB or move to a stratops/ bizops role in tech. For context I have 2-3 years work experience and my goal is to have a somewhat decent WLB with an interesting team. Should I go through the process with strat consulting firms or directly look into stratops?
Hey all - I am at a regional firm in the northeast (300 employees) that recently started a search to include permanent remote, full time or part time roles in every facet of our tax group. We honestly are growing quickly (below average turnover) and just need more good people as our client base grows. Good management, very fair compensation, and an actually flexible work environment (we have quite a few part time / reduced hours) and advancement opportunities... Give me a shout!
For anyone whose team held back on promotions due to covid impact on revenue, how much did you push back on not receiving a promotion or raise (separate from a bonus, and if you were up for / expecting the promotion)? Did you ask for anything else in place of the promotion/raise? Context: smaller team ~25 within a larger company. All performance reviews leading up to year-end review have been very positive and in a non-covid world I would’ve been a lock for promotion.
S1 in international tax (CPA) at b4 in HCOL, looking to switch to another b4 in Nashville. Anyone know what salary I should expect as an S1 or an S2?
Anyone work at UHY? What's the culture like? How are the hours in busy season /non busy season? Do you work from home at all? I know they are back in the office. What's the dress code (I'm used to jeans and a golf shirt lmao)? Do the managers welcome new methods of preparing returns? Are they afraid of tech / make you prove out your formulas?
