Have an opportunity to go to a small vc firm as an associate from consulting (platinion) with terrible wlb but pretty great compensation (90k+20% bonus). What do you think? Is it worth it given the pay cut, probably looking at something like 70k, but interesting deep tech focus. How likely am I to make it to principal and partner?
Can someone give me some perspective or pros and cons with respect to Career growth, WLB, Increment, bonus? 1. Accenture 2. EY India

I am facing one of the most wild shifts in mindset ever — i always thought i wanted to be this super accomplished career driven woman, but all i care about these days is making enough money to buy more real estate and retire asap. I feel like a hypocrite some days, and somedays i’m willing to sacrifice job interests for higher salary and just get to my goal of early retirement though real estate. Can someone please tell me i’m not going crazy :( this duality is weird to deal with.
What’s your target base salary percent increase when changing companies? I’d really like at least 25% to make it worth it.

I got selected for interview stage at a FAANG... Even before interviewing, the recruiter is asking for my comp expectations. I dont want to throw out numbers and ranges, but looking for advice here on how do i structure my response to let them know i would like to have a competitive salary as per industry standards (i know for a fact that their base salaries are 30 to 40% more than what i make now ($137k). The reason i dont want to let them know what i make now is so that they dont lowball me

Where do you work, and what educational benefits does your employer provide? Currently working full time and taking some classes toward my master’s. I’ve been at my firm for a little over 2 years as it was my first gig out of undergrad. It provides an annual stipend for education, but I’m bored, unchallenged, unfulfilled, and underpaid. I want to explore what other companies offer to make an educated decision as to whether I should go elsewhere. TIA!
I’ve had 9 interviews with Goldman Sachs. Has anyone experienced this? How many interviews do they usually have?
