I’ve seen $120 for an account director with 15 years experience.

funny

$450 is a fair hourly rate for an Account Director

funny

I've done $100/hr as Account Sup and I've done the same for freelance Account Dir 'cause I really wanted it but I'd definitely say for Dir is low. This is NYC. 12 years ad agency experience (15 total)

If you plan to leave your firm and your manager asks you why you're leaving, what do you say? I have a legitimate non-bridge-burning reason unrelated to comp or simply "big tech is better" reason. I have asked for more client facing exposure and haven't gotten it cause weird reasons, which was the factor that caused me to look for exits in the first place. But I'm not sure if I should bring this up. Should I just be vague and say "looking for a new chapter"?

Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? I have approx. 3.5 YOE (non-consulting), MBA and MS degree (non target school) and also SHRM certified (which is probably irrelevant for the role but thought I’d share anyways). Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!

2.5 years ago I had a base of $90K with 8 years of experience. Jumped on the consulting wagon and I just turned down an offer for $185K base + $70K RSUs because it's below my current comp. I started with my bar prep company in March and have been working remotely since. I don’t feel like I was ever properly trained (can’t tell if that’s because of poor management or WFH or both) but I have a hard time with the contract management system and have made several mistakes. Of course, I wasn’t trained in the CMS and am only taught how to do something correctly after I’ve don’t it incorrectly. Any advice on keeping things in perspective? I feel like I’m underperforming but only with tech

This one is for folks on h1b visa. So at time when you have an offer in hand(not accepted the offer yet and h1b transfer process not yet begun) while you are working with your current employer, do you even speak to your employer about your new offer to see if they make a counter offer? Is there a risk involved with this approach assuming your current employer doesn't provide you with a counter offer and they ask you to leave immediately (and your h1b visa hasn't been transferred either)
