How do you guys think of multi stage interview process? Personally i feel interviews up to two stages is ok, further than that is a waste of time.

I read a few stories like people not successful in getting the role after 5 to 7 stage of interviews, this is inclusive of coding / design challenges, flying over to another state for onsite interview etc.

I’m fully aware that in life there will be some difficult people to work with, but my patience and tolerance has dropped significantly. Part 2 career advice please. My question is do I take the contract and the huge increase in pay, in a field I feel would be a dream to work in. Also the position I would be take is more of a technical support role. So given the general trend of things right now, do I go into the ux/ui direction, or do I try to go into a devops role, keeping in mind this is basically a finance company, and I was told devops in finance is very specialized and I could price myself out after a few years
