Got my husband a nice watch!
Chief
Agreed - not trying to say you’re wrong, hence my point about knowing your partner. I knew he wanted brown leather, and I knew he wanted something with a smaller face. That limited my options to really two watches within that brand. I knew enough about his tastes to know which of the two of he preferred. However, worst case scenario o got it wrong, I read the return/exchange policy and could have easily swapped it out for one he wanted better. I would not have purchased if I didn’t know him well enough to know what he would have bought himself.

Seconding nice watch. Imo these things do not have to be surprises. We sat down together and looked through the catalog, he talked me through everything, and we are going to the jeweler together to make sure everything is perfect before I drop $4k
I’m getting married and am working on a love book story of us. https://lovebookonline.com You can make the characters look like each of you and make your best memories up until your wedding. You could even keep going if you choose to have kids/make more memories and do it every 5 - 10 years or so. It’s corny but meaningful. But if your husband is more material then some nice shoes or a nice suit or watch or a planned trip for him much be nice too
