What is a reasonable amount of total compensation to expect if taking a Senior Associate position in PE?

How big / well established is the fund? This will impact the answer

At a minimum, I’d say 125/125 base/bonus for a true senior associate role. 175/175 would be the max id expect for a MM fund. Very top end range (at a fund like Oaktree) maybe 400 all in? This is more of a ball park just based on what I know their regular associates make

Coming in as a senior associate is a bit unusual - that’s either after 2-3 years as an associate or 2 years as an associate plus an MBA. I see these roles go for ~275-350. Just to be clear, is this the deal team?
