What is a reasonable price to insulate approximately 800 sq ft of a third floor? I would say attic and it likely doesn’t make a difference, but there are actually stairs and that go up there so third floor it is. For context I’m getting quotes to finish it as an office and entertainment space. Builder has put insulation but apparently it’s minimal. Don’t want to get ripped off by contractor. My dislike for realtors has never been stronger. While purchasing a property a few months ago we found somewhere that had dropped their price so I wanted to go in a little under or at ask. It’s not that he wouldn’t allow it but wanted us to go in at the original list price and I later found out he knew the listing agent. The industry as a whole needs a shake up in my opinion.
