Big advantage of this type of team is salary per hour because its quite low in Georgia rather than US. Because Im new here I dont have connections with businesses in this field, where can I find cofounders like this who will be interested in software development and finding clients for this team?

Debating making the move to become a fed. GS-14 position. Has anyone considered making the move? I’m weight the pros/cons and debating if it’s a worthwhile move or not

Does anyone think it’s weird that my firm is bending over backwards to try to keep a first year staff from leaving the firm after she was rated a 2 this year. But now she’s trying to leave and they keep trying to push her to stay saying she can be a partner in 8-9 years and laying it all out in detail. Curious if my theory that after advising businesses how to run efficiently and effectively, that I could fairly easily deploy this experience in an existing business. Obviously I'm not ignorant that there will be obstacles to overcome but ultimately think it would be successful. For added context, I have an MBA, have focused of business development so understand sales and dealing with customers.

I spent a year in tax investigations where I believe I was thriving ( I was going to be an assistant manager in July 2023), I had a lot of assistant manager jobs, I even drafted a Code 9 report to HMRC which my manager said was 80% of an actual report, he then added the 20% and submitted it.
After I realised I couldn't maintain all the unpaid overtime I was working I decided to take a turn and go to compliance, so now I work in CT compliance. I feel very surpressed.

I filed my tax with TurboTax. It said my estimated refund is $700. I got a letter from IRS saying I actually owe $400. When I looked into it I realized they didn’t account for my 2021 quarterly estimates that I paid with my ex-wife last year. In our divorce decree we agreed to claim half of the credits each. But I guess for their record it’s all under her name. It’s impossible to reach IRS and also I really want to avoid contacting my ex. What would be the best approach for this?
