Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

A1 is pretty much right - a person (typically a woman) is entitled to 8 weeks if they give birth to a child. This is called maternity leave in the policy (1491).
Either parent, regardless of where they have situated themself on the gender spectrum, is eligible to receive 8 weeks of Primary Caregiver leave.
In my experience, generally mothers will take 16 weeks (Maternity + Primary Caregiver) and fathers will take 8 (Primary Caregiver only). Secondary caregiver leave is 2 weeks but typically I’ve seen fathers take the full 8. I imagine that this would only change if two people who both work at Accenture had a baby, in which case they could not both take the primary caregiver leave.
8 weeks paternity, 16 Maternity
If you’re quoting policy sure.
Practically speaking, unless both are working at accenture, that’s what people are eligible for
Thanks folks! Can the primary/ secondary caregiver leave also be used to care for elderly parents?
Not to my knowledge - we just have the standard unpaid FMLA leave. I think six states have passed legislation that provides paid leave in these circumstances.
