Have an offer from KPMG Global Services for a decent enough Pay. The opportunity is with Google Cloud Tower for Assistant Manager post. Asking on behalf of a friend who is expecting her baby soon. So work life would be top priority PS: Holding offers for Sapient and EPAM with almost the same pay package Please help with your inputs if it would be prudent to join KMPG or anyone of the others mentioned
Saw my neighbor walking with her kid in a stroller. She. got mail from her mail box, which included an Amazon box, and put it on her kids lap. Went in the house.
Hi 🙋🏼♀️ Accenture moms. Re healthcare benefits: did you select HDHP or PPO plan and why? I’ve been on the HDHP plan for the last few years, which has worked well as I almost never see a doctor, but we’re planning to get pregnant next year and I’m reevaluating my options. How many prenatal apts should I expect? Is PPO better for this? Anything you wish you had known about being pregnant with ACN health benefits?
My best friend's sister is pregnant with her first child (a baby boy)! Can anyone share gift recommendations- perhaps reasonably ( max $80) priced items new mothers would find helpful to use daily or often?
I feel very lost. I just started as an associate at a big firm this year and have a one year old son. Learning how to be a mom and an associate has been extremely tough and I have felt burnt out on multiple occasions this year. Prior to having a child, I was a very determined individual and was used to saying yes to almost everything because I wanted to accomplish those things. Nowadays I feel like I don’t care about my job as much and being away from him gets more and more difficult.
Can someone who has a login click the below and give us the lowdown? What agencies really don't care about parents and which really do? https://www.campaignlive.com/article/best-worst-ad-agency-parental-leave-policies-2020/1673159
After another failed relationship I think I am going to look into having a child on my own. I’ll be 34 in a few months. Has anyone done this or thinking the same?
18 weeks pregnant (1st time) and have always been an active/fit person workingout 5x/wk cardio/treadmill and some weight lifting. I've toned down my workout routine since I found out I'm preg as I got 2 v diff advice from the NP I first saw then the OB/GYN herself. NP warned of exercising as this should not be my priority now (which I agree) he warned from any running/or weight lift (were talking 40-70 lbs). Ob was so flexible about it and said I can maintain my routine as long as not exhausted.
Anyone have to move to take care of a parent at a young age? I am in mid-20s living in a cool city and but feel obligated to help take care of a parent in my sleepy hometown.
Was talking to the husband about what to do when kid 2 comes, if I'd want to go part time/flexible and keep them both at home while we wait for the pandemic to calm down (kid 1 is currently in daycare). He said he would look into it as well so we could split the time, no reason for one person to take full responsibility. I almost cried lol Ladies!! Talk to your husbands/SOs! Maybe not all will offer that solution on their own but see if they are receptive to the idea if you're struggling.
Why is my status doesn't apply for my kid if he/she travels without me all by himself? 😤😡 this is stupid.
What soap do you use for cleaning baby bottles?
FTM, looking for cute summer maternity clothes, but don’t want to break the bank. I’m 5’2” and don’t want to just wear maxi dresses, not always a good look on someone so short.... any suggestions?
Married 🐠: What are things you do to develop a better relationship with your mother in law? My husband & his fam are quiet, disconnected & don’t really check on each other. I wnt this this to change!
Just took a pregnancy test and it is ++! This is our 3rd, I am excited and we planned for this, but man the accountant in me can’t stop processing the numbers. Instead of focusing on our budget today (and the insane cost of daycare), help me find a fun way to tell my husband! My first I gave him the test and a little baby outfit from his alma mater, second I just said it while we were talking about how nice it is that our first is a good sleeper. Any fun ideas would be appreciated!
Looking to know if there are consulting couples (both on the road & different firms) who have survived to be in the same profession after having a kid!! I need some motivation and advise 🤓
I am thinking about having another baby. I have a 2 and a half year old boy. I am also going to be 41 next month. I had a really rough pregnancy the last time around and I’ll be 41 next month. Any mothers that had their kids after 40 with any advice?
PwC - what is the paternity leave policy? Do you need to be with the firm for a year before you can avail it?
Should I have a second child? I met my husband later in life at 37 yo. We had our first when I was 39. I thought I was good with just one as I was never someone who really wanted kids but I know my husband would love to have another and now that I have one I think about her having a sibling. I’ll be 41 in March so we need to start now. I love the ease and flexibility of one child and she’s been such good baby. I’m worried that if we have another I’ll regret it. I’m also about to start a new job.
I'm really tired of trying to make my career work, and being a parent, and make my marriage work. I'm so stressed out and miserable. I wish I could just quit but there's also debt.
Just had a dream that my plane crashed and instead of suing I asked for global services for lifetime. I think it’s time I leave this bowl until I become rational again

Switching from BA role in consulting to data analyst role possible with the experiences we get? Some have been super data focused others have been more like “large org transformation” so irrelevant
Could anyone share what’s EY business consulting about? I just got to know of someone without any business consulting related experience getting hired into a mid/senior role and thus am curious
So I’ve always been a fairly practical person and have always done what “makes sense” vs. following my passion... I majored in computer science (hated it) and am now in a super technical role...
Hi Big4, I'm coming up close to 2 years of work exp and I'd love to explore a role at EY, KPMG and PwC in analytics and data engineering. I'd been looking at Deloitte as well, however on multiple occasions Deloitte recruiters told me that I need more "years of experience" without factoring my skillsets. On conducting research, I found developers writing basic SQL queries that I could script at the beginning of my career. While I'm still learning, I'd appreciate anyone who can help :) Cheers!
I am an analyst. To be honest, I feel like I am sinking, and everyone knows it. I was not an Econ major in college (poly Sci) , and I am new to excel. However, I feel like I am constantly thrown into the deep end, and no one wants to help me, answer my questions, or help guide me through asks. I was under the impression that this would be a teaching environment. Worst feeling when you feel stupid, and you know that everyone else thinks you are stupid too. Will prob b fired.
I have interviews lined up in the next few weeks for my first PM role & I’m struggling most with the case study questions (how would you improve x / design an x for y) - does anyone have any good resources with lots of example questions and answers? (I’ve read Cracking the PM interview & Decode but now need more worked examples to practice with) thanks!
I have an interview tomorrow, and even if I’ve prepared for it, I feel very anxious and this triggers my depression and this has an impact on my presentation reducing the prob of success.
I’m started to grow exhausted of all the “or” thinking. Politics. Culture. Industry culture. It’s like everything has turned into a sporting event in which you’re on the winning or losing team. 0 sum game vs additive and abundance thinking. Why not find the great things and add to it vs finger pointing and burning the whole thing down?
Looking for job change reference. Currently working in CTS with 15.5L pay and 19+ years of experience. My skill based on modern workplace and current role is SA. How directors gets paid when they are working for a production company. By salary or project? Both?
I’m interviewing for a Data Science Associate role at a mid size fin tech right now. Afraid to make the jump as I’m only a few months into first strategy job. Feel like I’ll be around more high achievers in consulting, but if in the end everyone (an exaggeration) is trying to funnel into product management, should I jump ahead of the curve?
What’s the best real estate investing book you read that isn’t 80% full of the motivational fluff but gives concrete info?
Mck🐠, my wife just got an interview of Data Scientist - Agriculture Commodity Research Engine (ACRE). Any insights would be much appreciated!
