Joined an UMM fund a few months back and things have been pretty lax and we haven’t pursued a new platform yet. Would love to hear from some people who ultimately decided against PE and why.

I’ve been working as a mortgage professional for over 3 years now and have found it unfulfilling and draining, even with the industry where it’s currently at. Would returning to school to pursue an MBA or other masters degree afford me the opportunity to make a switch to PE? Have had a few friends in PE and some in consulting say the same. Currently making 180-220k a year as a MLO, but the work is stale and looking for a potential exit. Any advice?
