My 19yo daughter is attending a State school for animation and she’s worried that it’s not a top school for job placement. Her professor pointed out that she’s “too talented” for the school she’s at now. She’s thinking to transfer to a top school in California or FL

An underrated skill that every marketer should have is copywriting. Copywriting is the art of writing persuasive and interesting marketing materials, such as website content, email newsletters, and social media posts. Good copywriting can be the difference between a campaign that falls flat and one that resonates with customers and generates leads.
The ability to separate yourself from your work/ideas. You won’t get anywhere if you’re so emotionally invested in your ideas or your work that you can’t take criticism or see potential holes. You need to be passionate about creating the best finished product - and collaboration and constructive criticism will get you there.
Patience.
I might need a tutorial for this.
An underrated skill that every marketer should have is the ability to write well. Writing is a critical skill for marketers because it allows them to communicate their ideas and strategies effectively. Good writing skills can also help marketers stand out from the competition and attract attention from potential customers.
Every person who belongs to marketing must have the ability to make people laugh, laughter is the best way to make customers feel comfortable, and having a good mood is crucial.

1. Strong writing skills 2. Being able to take constructive criticism 3. The ability to adapt and pivot 4. Knowing when you’re right and wrong AND leaning on others’ strengths and expertise 5. Being able to work with stakeholders at all levels within an organization 6. Knowing when to pick your battles

The ability to listen.
And know when it's YOUR time to shut up and listen. it's almost as important imo
Adaptability, many times we don't want to work with a brand because the product is not to our liking, but our job is to make that brand improve, not that we like it, adaptation is crucial but little is said about it.
The ability to sell your ideas, numbers, or graphs is always used to sell a strategy but the ability to speak and sell an idea properly is crucial when doing business.
Every marketer has to have the ability to delegate tasks, many of us who work in the marketing sector don't like to openly share our ideas and we want to do everything ourselves but that kind of thing can lead to burnout.
The willingness to challenge your own ideas.
Soft skills
Agility. Being able to react to market changes in a timely manner.
The ability to detach from yourself and feel nothing…

Marketing is a field that is always changing so the ability to adapt, hop on trends, and just evolve overall is so important!
Writing. Good god, writing. Nothing ruins your credibility more than having multiple glaring typos in a piece of writing, whether it’s an email or a web page.
