I got Hr call from ey gds after technical and she asked my expectation i said 40 percent. She replied are you in fire negotiation,I said yes..than after she did not negotiate and said will get back to you shortly..what does that mean..wheather they will consider me or not .

I have been contacted by a hiring manager for a data analytical manager role to manage data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists. The team size will be around 15 people. The team will be over all analytics for the company. It is a 300 million funded healthcare startup and remote position. What total compensation package seems fair for this role? Currently, I am a EM at 200k TC. How should I handle it if they come lower than my current compensation?

How long do you think about quitting a job before you actually make the move and do it?
