16 weeks paid leave for either parent + either 6 or 8 weeks short term disability , depending on vaginal or c section delivery (fully paid). Plus any PTO you want to use up to 6 months of total leave time
You can take more than 6 months total if you want to use your PTO. Yes technically that impacts your utilization but honestly nobody pays too much attention to your utilization in a mat leave year.
If it’s only up to 6 months, that means you would lose some of your pto? Or at that point you have to just take the hit to utilization as it wouldn’t be part of LOA?
I am taking over 7 months by using PTO. 24 weeks is what is fully paid by the firm for STD and parental leave.
