Why do I feel so guilty about wanting to take another offer and leaving my team? I like my current teammates just HATE the client and project. I’ve also asked for a raise multiple times and have been told no. I’m underpaid but am up for promotion this year (June). I don’t think Deloitte can/willmatch. I want to take the money but I feel like I’m still learning leaderships skills and can see the potential for beefing out the management portion of my resume. What would you do? (Offer 50% more)
How do you go from creative to client side?
Does anyone else feel bad or guilty when they don’t have something delivered on time not because of yourself but client and external delays?
Who gets credit for scrubbing client deliverables and releasing as thought leadership internally? Did most of the work, but I'd imagine most of the team want "in" and get their name credited too
Director put me on a project and claimed this is my test to see if I'm ready for the next step? Ill be managing more junior staff. I wasn't promoted in the last cycle, so why the test now?
Very bummed out tonight. Lost a $7,000 commission today AND a $3,000 one. $7k was a 403b Rollover client cannot execute on til she retires even though state has not used this vendor for 8+ years.
Two weeks ago I left my mouse at the client site, last week my privacy screen, what will it be this week????

Are there any disability insurance companies who would take a bipolar client? Please help!
I've been taking the silver line shuttle to Boston south station instead of an uber to save the client money, but I almost just got trampled and a suitcase fell on me. Never again 😰🙅🏻
What are the best ways to negotiate one's salary? Ideally time it right after a successful campaign or project?
Another senior associate just emailed the client to tell him that the PDF the client sent him had two pages that were out of order. He asked the client to RESCAN AND RESEND IT. Like he's never used Adobe in his life? I have no words.
Four day weekend... Honeydo weekend. If consulting doesn't work out I may do laminate flooring installations. What's your labor day project?
Need some advice - been at the D for a year and have been on the same implementation project for over a year. Have a technical background and am thinking of starting to look for exits to industry but also am curious what strategy projects are and if I would be interested in the work. Is it worth networking onto a strategy project at the D or should I just continue to look for industry exists and then go b school and then try for MBB/T2 ?
Signed a freelance contract, but work is ‘paused’ due to vendor sourcing. Most days i don’t do anything job-related. Should I still bill the agency for the hours they’re wasting with me? Or do I only bill for the hours I’m working on the actual project?
1st yr associate w/ much more responsibility than the other associates on my project which is mostly good. But I've always been an anxious person and I can't seem to stop thinking about work (cont'd)

From your project experience, is there any reason we couldn't do half travel half remote or even 2 travel weeks out of 3?
Does anyone else miss when Delta sky club used to have Nutella. Apples + Nutella = orgasmic. still sad. ;-(
How do you all think remote working is influencing gender dynamics in your teams? I wonder if/how relying on virtual comms with no in-person interactions will help or hurt things.
Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
Hi ladies! I’m curious if anyone here has worked for or works for IRONMAN? I’m curious what the company culture and vibe is like. I’ve heard mixed things but I’m currently interviewing with them. TIA!

Hi everyone, quick question: SO and I were applying to some home loan together and he asked what my date of birth was so he could enter it in. Is this normal or does it just show that they don’t care? We’ve been together for 5 years now. Thanks! I’m leaning towards the latter so slightly hurt lol how would you feel?
What’s the EY Marriott code?
A criticism of firm attorneys I see re: transition in house is that they don't think like a business person. My SO is in house and I feel like I have a decent sense of the requisite mindset and considerations and how it differs from a firm Would it be tacky to say something to this effect in cover letters or interviews ?

When interviewing via zoom how do you get a feel for the company’s culture? There was zero energy from the hiring manager and only a handful of smiles. Honestly place seems like a stressful zoo.
Anyone interested in a virtual networking event via zoom? Could help expand our network during this disruptive time - thoughts?
Deloitte Digital Manager salary?
I have an interview for a senior associate role at an investment firm. However, I believe I am under qualified based of my YOE (1.5) because they are asking for a minimum of 3. Should I mention I am open to an associate role, or try to sell myself for the senior role? Thanks for the help!
