I got an offer for Amazon Business Analyst II (L5) and the TC is pretty disappointing. Is it because of the upcoming recession or did I just set my expectation too high? I was expecting a base of ~140K and this is what I got. Any thoughts and how to counter? :(

Base: $110K

Sign-on: $25K+$20K (two years)

Shares: 420 shares (vest in five years)

Has anyone ever tried negotiating a pro-rated bonus prior to leaving for a federal clerkship (i.e., where you leave a month or two before the end of the billable year)? I’m figuring it’s a no-go and, if anything, the firm would prefer to negotiate that into the package upon return from the clerkship (along with any clerkship bonus, etc), but wondering if it would be worth bringing up before I leave. In the past 6 years, I was promoted twice, from P3 to P4, then a few years later, from P4 to P5. However, I found out that my salary is still within the P3 band (actually 10k below max P3 range). I interviewed at KPMG, CTC part already discussed, I clearly mentioned I’m holding offer and I’m expecting 20-30% hike on my offer and he agreed and proceeds my profile.
I cleared 1st technical round and second round interviewers asked my expectations and same I replied. Then he talk very unprofessional and also he is explaining how much they have effort for conducting one interview and here you’re doing shopping. He ended the interview.
What about our efforts and time?

I applied for a Managing Consultant / Senior Manager position at Capgemini Invent and was interviewed today solely by a Senior Consultant. Given my experience I found this highly unusual and contacted their recruitment team who explained my interviewer would provide feedback on my suitable grade/level/position. How would someone with little to no management experience be best placed to make that assessment? Has anyone else experienced a similar issue when interviewing at Cap Invent?
