It’s apples and oranges. Why is this even a question?
Getting a puppy in busy season is just mean to the puppy
Puppy for sure
Puppies can be very expensive
I agree with Baker Tilly 1, it really is comparing apples and oranges. But a puppy is a lot of hard work. You’re basically taking care of a child for the first few months so getting one just before tax season isn’t a great idea. Get one after tax season ends that way you have plenty of time to train it. But you also may want to figure out a schedule for taking care of it when tax season does come around. Hire a pet sitter to come and feed/walk the dog or take a break and go home for lunch time, etc. It’s a lot of responsibility. Just do NOT get one unless you figure all of that stuff out.
^ my puppy is now almost 6 months old. We adopted her at 10 weeks. It was exhausting but agreed w everything SA 1 said above. Figure all of that out. They can only hold their pee for about an hour for each month they are old, so you really need to have some flexibility to go let it out during the day, etc., during he first few months
