I’m in the diversified staff path and some of the best people I’ve worked with are the Indirect people. I also have one of the best counselors around and he’s supportive and encourages me to take care of myself, so that’s made for a positive experience for me. And I have a couple of close work friends I do stuff with during the work day (office events, meetings, getting lunch occasionally) and we vent together each other; which is great!

It’s relative. Where are you coming from and what’s the office culture like there? Maybe good to explain why you’re considering moving firms/jobs so we can tell you if you’re going to find the same issues here?

For those taking out loans- since we’re charged tuition on a semester basis, are you taking out the loan in lump sum for the year or applying once now and once in the winter?

I’ll be doing my first deposition ever via Zoom in a month or two. Any tips? Resources to read? Videos to watch? (I’m a rising second year associate who got hired during the pandemic. I really want to impress my new bosses, so I’m going to put in tons of non-billable time prepping)

Any recs on finding a good tutor for GMAT? Should I look a different place for quant vs. verbal tutors, or are there tutors that can help with both? Also, is it realistic to think I can get someone for $150 an hour, or is that too low? Lastly, how many tutoring sessions do you think are necessary to reap the benefits? (Lots of Qs, sorry!) For context, am considering using a tutor specifically to help tighten up weak points between my 1st and 2nd sitting
