What is it like working at ICF ? Our company has recently been acquired by them and I am curious about the culture there. Would anyone working there have any advice on how to be successful at ICF?

It’s basically just a holding company to be honest. We also got acquired and report to the same people. I would say that folks here are more boomers and aren’t really inspiring to work with

Many at ICF are personally invested in the projects they work on. We work on issues that intersect with identity: from climate change to health to education, and more. For that reason, many employees are not just motivated by our clients, but also their own experiences, goals, and perspectives. You may find you share that with many in the organization.

Welcome to ICF! As others mentioned, we are a fast-growing which comes with a lot of opportunities and also change. Like many bigger companies, there is a lot that is self-service so getting acquainted with all of the resources is a good way to feel connected and in the know.

People stay connected to the latest news, tools, and HR info through the intranet and weekly newsletters. You can also join many Yammer groups. The pets and plant lovers are my personal faves but there are also places where people exchange ideas in their field like tech groups. Or join an Employee Community Network to find connections and support outside your work group. There are mentorship programs and much learning and development to take advantage of - I hear it's a pretty unique investment into developing people.

In this virtual world, there are so many ways to find resources and belonging here!

Is it okay that I’ve been a slow junior as we’re hours away from closing? I’m trying to be proactive and available to cross things off the list but I’m SLOW: takes me long enough that they do it themselves (even though this wasn’t an issue earlier in the deal) and even on quick tasks or emails, they respond to it before I can click send. There’s also so much about closing that I don’t understand and I feel like I’m bothering the higher-ups on the team whenever I ask. *end anxiety post*

So to give some background, I currently have about 6-7 YOE in the BA/PM space, and my current position is 100k, with 10k annual bonus. The position I hold is as a Senior Business Analyst at the company I'm currently at.

I received an offer for a Salesforce Functional Business Analyst at Accenture for 128k annually with a 15k signing bonus. I'm hesitant due to the lower title, as I want to move back into PM work, and feel as if I'm taking a step down. Also, concerned with the WLB at Accenture.
