Recruiter lied about interview process and job type. First interview goes well and interviewer tried to schedule me for in-person interview first thing next morning. I tried to push off into next week and was told it wouldn’t work with timeline. Everything was supposed to be remote, should I keep it moving and go somewhere else?

I asked for a counter offer at Tiger and they say pls join the other company ..... even if u join Tiger your doj will be pushed by a month.
Did anyone also get this kind of answer.

Have anyone done contracting negotiations before? I've interviewed for co A & B and co A extended an offer today. The offer does not meet my current salary. Co B's interview structure is 3 rounds and I've finished my 2nd round today. The recruiter mentioned that since I am a contractor my current salary is incomparable as they will provide benefits, etc. Is this true? Interviewed for S&O role and wanted to share. Recruiter told me to expect problem solving and stakeholder comm, behavioral and case type questions… It ended up being one 25-min interviewee-led case. I was surprised given all that I had read online about RRK and GCA and Googleyness and the pride Google has in its “unbiased”interview process… it felt like any other MBB interview where your case interviewer decides your fate… guess S&O is just like any consulting firm…

Is it average to hit Consultant to M promo in 2 years? Spent the entire last year working solid 65+ hour weeks across delivery, BD work, community of practice, mentoring, etc, to try to craft the perfect story. Got DA tag last year and at progression point B. Had a call with my CC yesterday and she said we can try for accelerated progression and that she would not put me up for promo. I know I’m being selfish but I tried to accomplish all the priorities that she outlined last year for M promo.
