About to receive an offer from a company similar to my current but w/a Senior title. The compensation is only slightly better but I like the product better and could use a fresh start. I was recruited for the role, as I was planning on waiting til after I moved to a new state to start a job search.

I think I can do better than the new company, but won't have time to start a legit job search for a couple months. Will it hurt me to jump ship, start a new job but then start applying elsewhere?

I have 6 and half YOE in front end development. (angular and hybrid applications). I joined my current organization ( product based) in Feb for 24LPA. The work here is too stressful and there is absolutely zero WLB. So I decided to start looking out again. However I am not getting good interview calls. Are most companies not hiring now ? Or could it because my CTC is too high ?

Hi Fellow Fishes! I need some urgent advice. I had accepted a job offer at a really good company with a good role and team. I am due to start that new job on Monday 30th Aug. Now the thing is I have a better job offer from one of my dream companies-i would be really stupid not to take that offer. Almost a month ago, I applied for an AVP position at Barclays Pune through referral (my husband works here). Does Barclays promote/support partners working in the same company, or is it not allowed?
What are the stages of application statuses? Mine shows job status as active (maybe the position is still open) and application status as Completed.
Does this mean my application is rejected for sure?
