Lots of therapy, patience, and introspection and 8+ years of sobriety later and I'm a stronger, wiser, and self-aware(r) person. Life's a road trip...cleaning all the garbage out of the car makes for a much more pleasant journey!

As a fully remote employee, how should I approach telling my team that I am moving? A bit of background: my fiancé has a permanent job in another state so this has been a long time coming. During the first half of COVID he was able to live with me but now he has to be in-person and I don’t. Lease is ending and I am planning to move to his state. I previously visited him for a month without saying anything but I billed my time to his state. No one even noticed. I have to say something now, right?
