Do research as you execute on their roadmap so you can do the best with what you have. Over time, show them where they went wrong and redirect the roadmap they have laid out; it will likely be an uphill battle.
You could also start looking for a new position.

Is their roadmap tied to business outcomes? Are they constantly monitoring those business outcomes to determine what’s looking best?
I have found that many product owners are committed to technical deliverables and aren’t running tests to see what drives business outcomes most efficiently. That’s where a product manager can bring data and knowledge to the table to help show how to optimize the existing features / solutions.

Just keep in mind that I’m the very early stages the role of the PM can be just of execution with experimentation sprinkled in. For that I think PM1 is right on the money.
Frustrating, for sure, but actually not that uncommon. Just bide your time. I'm sure you'll get the opportunity to make a bigger impact as time goes on.
I think the advice here is solid, and I think particularly the point about technical deliverables etc. I think you have it to give it time, but I would start laying out areas where you see flaws on your own as well to ensure that you bring up everything at the right time and keep it straight
