What are the odds of getting into Big Law after being an associate at a boutique in a small market? I clerked right out of law school and am now joining a boutique firm with the hopes of gaining experience quickly. While relocating isn’t an option right now, I have considered trying to move to a larger firm in a larger market in the future. Has anyone else done this?

Any insight into why a colleague literally never addressing me by name in email or on the phone, but will address everyone else? For instance, her emails to me will be “hi” or “morning” and to others “Hi Sam” or “Good morning”. I think it’s just her passive aggressive nature but is there more to it??

I need help! We have a 1 year old and 3 year old. Both my husband and I work long hours usually. In the past 2.5 months, we have had one or both of the kids home due to COVID closures, quarantine, or being sick and the daycare is super sensitive to sickness because of COVID. I am so far behind at work, but I am also so tired and burnt out from working every weeknight and weekend trying to play catch-up. How are other folks dealing with this? It’s so out of hand, it can’t keep going like this
Does anyone actually "negotiate" their bills? For example, electricity, internet, subscriptions, etc. I've moved out of my parents place so everything right now is on a pretty good introductory rate since I'm a new customer. But once the year is up, it will jump. Do I just call and ask if I can keep the lower rate? Or do I threaten to leave? Or is this even worth doing at all.
