Will moving to a smaller company from B4 impact my career as such in the long run? Especially a company which is still growing and has only 150 employees at this moment. It’s not widely known in the market. But, it is growing at a fast pace in the last couple of years. From a work culture perspective, this company offers a lot of flexibility, emphasizes on wlb and employee satisfaction. Been wanting to get out of the toxic B4 work environment. I don’t want to make a hasty decision and regret.

This is stirring the pot but I truly have only met a few Account Managers that are good at managing clients. I’ve been in the industry for many years at this point I can only name maybe 5 Account Managers who truly knew what they were doing. Learn to push back on unreasonable requests, provide solutions, and advocate for your client AND the agency (not JUST the client). The amount of weekends I’ve had to work because of incompetent AMs who believe their job function is to say yes to everything😭

Pondering. How many creatives struggle with the imposter syndrome. And even though you get into this business because you have talent, how do you stay true to that and not listen to the haters/ cancel culture that makes you feel like an imposter. I feel like I’m not alone, but I’d love some advice on how you guys paddle your own creative canoe.

My grandmother passed away recently, and I thought I would be very sad and cry, but I am not and I wonder if there’s something wrong with me. I was very sad and cried when she fell ill three years ago, but when she passed away I don’t think what I felt was sadness, more like emptiness... Is this normal? I’ve never had someone close to me pass away and I feel terrible because I am not crying.
This has been a year for flying firsts: first two go-arounds to start the year and now an emergency landing at CLT
