Just got an offer from McK for Associate position. Told my dad and now he says he’s not paying for my MBA since I landed this without it. Can’t believe he’s doing this. Sure, he paid for my UPenn undergrad, but MBA isn’t that much more 🙄

I am in my first HRBP role. It has been a role I’ve been wanting to focus on and get in to but never got the opportunity to do so. Goals are to transition to strategy consulting as well as earn an M7 MBA. Which option makes more sense? (1) Stay at firm until I apply to B school, then interview for strategy (2) transition to strategy consulting first as experienced hire, then apply to B school? Pros/Cons?
