What is th emost expensive thing you have ever bought?

While attending Catholic school in the first grade I was really naughty and sneaked in the empty classroom during recess with a friend. We raided the treasure chest full of goodies (candy, stickers, snacks) and stuffed them in our backbacks. When it was time for class, our teacher noticed the missing treasures and made us all sit in silence until one of us cracked. Someone ratted on my friend, I was in the clear, and my friend never told on me. I still feel bad about it. : (

Do you drink after work? I feel like this job drives people to drinking. And yes, I eat healthy, go to therapy and exercise 4 times a week to deal with stress. But my god, I find myself wanting to decompress with a glass of wine (or two) and I’m not sure that’s healthy. Is that a sign I should leave my job?

I got an offer to join Deloitte Consulting (post MBA) and wanted to see if anyone could give me advice/tips. I thought I'd be in tech as a PM but the opportunity to interview with Deloitte and a few other firms (more boutique, mid-sized) came knocking at my door; Deloitte gave me an extremely competitive offer that I couldnt refuse and I know my exit opportunities would be amazing. How much time did you take off for maternity leave and was it enough?

How long should you wait to send a "what's happening" email after an interview? It's been almost a full week and I haven't heard anything. Should I wait a few more days?

A couple years ago, I was asked to cover a female coworkers job duties while she was out on maternity leave for 6 months. I covered 90% of her work with our client and was drowning. They specifically gave it to me as the only other woman on the team and she was my same level. She came back from mat leave and got promoted, we were same level, same YOE. Everyone else in our group was promoted who was eligible. How would you have dealt with this? I was devastated. Just now getting over it.
