LVMH currently interviewing for a Project Manager role in Paris, what is the potential salary grade at LVMH? The recruiter said they can’t share that info. I have ~10 years of experience in the SaaS industry which is what this role is about. Thank you!
I have a verbal offer that I’m working with a recruiter to finalize. We discussed comp fairly earlier on and I aimed high, doubling my current salary. It sounds like they’re prepared to give me what I asked for plus more (higher sign on bonus, less travel, hybrid/mostly remote). I’ve had it drilled into me to always negotiate. Is there such thing as an offer that doesn’t need negotiating? Am I leaving money on the table?
Single people in DC - what do your monthly budgets/spending habits look like in comparison to take-home salary? I feel like I might be overspending so looking to understand what others are doing.
Hi Everyone, I’m a graduating phd economist and I went through several rounds of interviews for a data science role in a start-up where I think my background can be very handy. The initial posted salary range was 130-140 (though they made multiple postings through the recruiting company with multiple lower ranges) and I was asked if I’m okay with this given they pay equity too, I said I’d consider and targeting more like 150. I have a final 20 min interview left and just was told (cont below)
Can you ask for a signing bonus even if you’ll be making more at the new firm and don’t have any other offers?
Salary check. I’m a Marketing Director for a small SaaS startup. I make $95k with no benefits. I’m the only person in my marketing department and also have my foot in the sales department, growing both departments by myself. I have 7 years of professional experience in marketing and sales. There are some red flags at this company and I’ve been here for almost 11 months. If I were to start looking for another job, I’m thinking I can apply for $130k-$150k, any thoughts?

Anyone here considered going the investment banking route? I know they do more finance work, but they are analytical and the compensation is crazy high. Talking to an old colleague and the first year analyst make 100-120k base and 60-80k bonus.

At startups, are annual equity comp refreshers typically included as part of the offer, or is that a softer understanding? A company I’m engaging with is reluctant about commit to specific ongoing awards (though they say additional awards can be a part of annual review cycle), curious if that’s typical or not

Final round with Morgan Stanley tomorrow. Have had minimal discussion about compensation and am unsure what to expect. They seemed ok with matching my previous salary at ACN but can I aim for more?
In my second year at BCG (associate). Have largely enjoyed my time and done well at the firm so far; however, have recently been frustrated with project work (more interested in true transformational work and haven’t done much of that) and grueling hours on things that provide little to no value (tons of backup slides, etc). In that light, a firm like Alix Partners comes across as quite interesting. If I’m able to make the move @ the 2 year mark, should I consider joining as a Vice President?
Just passed up an in person Deloitte interview for an EY offer. Did I make the right decision!?😅
