Is it really worth having more money, at some point it is just a number and quality of life doesn't improve. In fact it could be worse with the extra hours.

During my PTO, my SM called me and asked me to start plugging myself in and he mentioned that I don't want to be left behind. He asked me to set up a call during my PTO to "catch up" with the rest of the team. I cannot wait to get out of this company as this is kinda touching my bottom line.

Unpopular opinion: Late night projects don't suck, the people you're working with just suck. One of my favourite projects had 12-1am nights for a month straight and was tough but I was genuinely friends with my colleagues and manager that it was just fun being on the project and working with them. What’s the max that someone who is making $2600 a month post tax should spend on rent? Context: sibling is starting out in commission role so this number is the minimum they’d be making, they have emergency fund already, car/insurance paid for by work. They don’t know anyone in the area to live with but studios/1B in decent areas start at $1300
