Hi all, I have 9 years of experience in technical writing. My designation is Technical Writer 2 and I earn €65k per year in Europe. For my experience and skill set gained over 9 years, I feel I should have been offered a higher salary. Now need to decide whether to take it. From comp perspective, Deloitte is $125k + bonus (~$20k), McK is $115k + bonus (~$25k). Deloitte will sponsor my MBA starting 2023 (in a deferred M7 program), with McK I'll have to wait until 2024 (if I'm approved at all). Enjoy my analytics work now, hopefully would in McK Digital too.

Sometimes I feel like I am not working in an IT Company. The client for which I work for has a very old code base and the nature of my work especially revolves around L3 troubleshooting and unending POC, I feel like I am not exactly working in a Tech Company.

I think that if you work on technologies in a client that are relevant to the market and in demand (I am not asking for something bleeding edge) it is far easier for you to switch jobs, learn and grow in the career. Pls help me with this.
