QA Salary at BMO
I am a Principal Solutions Architect with 13 YOE of which 5 years exp is with Biotech focusing on Public Cloud (AWS) & overall AWS exp. 9 years. I need suggestions /opinions if applying for a Senior Solutions Architect (Level6) at AWS makes sense or if I should aim for a Principal SA (level 7) role at AWS with Healthcare & Lifesciences industry experience. If it makes any difference, I worked for AWS ProServe as an external SA in the past. Any insights / feedback appreciated.

I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

I was promoted and I got 2% salary hike last year
Haha, you think the partners will do that.?
My SO also got promoted and only got a 2%. They “fixed it” this spring by giving her $1000 MSA lol idk why she is still there
Depends where you are in the salary band. Higher % if you're lower in the band, and lower % if you're high up in the band. In general they will find whatever excuse they can to just give you an inflationary raise (2%).
5% sounds about right

My average over 10+ years is maybe 8%. It doesn’t sound bad but it does place me low on the band (so I think)
