I just started at a new company 2 months ago with the expectation of having 3-4 people on my team. However, my team size will be increasing to 7. I don’t really want to rock the boat so early at my new job especially since I’m still in the “drinking from the firehose” phase, but this is going to be a significant increase in responsibility. We only have pay review in January of each year. Would it be crazy to ask about a raise later this month?
What would you do ? 26 years old, work 9 to 9, work weekends, take an extra load because you can to get to the next promotion. Or work normal hours, workout, enjoy time with family, advance normally.
How do you decide between staying on an account where you like the people, there's a good chance of promotion, but the work is boring (con'd)
When is the best time to ask for a raise?
I've been working as an Advisory Analyst for 1yr. I have worked hard this 1 year. How do I ask for a promotion?
Is it better to be a big fish in a small pond, or a small fish in a big pond? Just got recruited with promotion/pay bump for a bigger firm but I’m in a great spot with my current firm. Suggestions?
I am a senior ETL developer and I make 130K cad. I want to increase my income. In most companies I see that they pay the same for senior data engineers or data architects. What are the companies or roles should I target in order to raise my income? (PS - I am not interested in non technical or consulting roles)

Switch to another consulting firm for 20-25% raise + bonus but same level (manager) or wait for promotion at EY this year but still less money. Doesn't look like EY will match the competing offer.
Leaving for a new firm and the pay raise will mean that I’m above the contribution limits for both Traditional and Roth IRA’s. Where do I put my money now? (Already max 401(k)
Hello. I am an associate analyst who joined in 2019 . I did my mca online. Milestone to analyst 2022. Is it possible to fasten my promotion to consultant ?
How do you respond to "What do you want to do?", asked asked by a partner? I joined consulting as part of an acquisition, never really wanted this career. I honestly just want to make money and get promoted for the experience. I've really enjoyed my time at a B4 and have learned a ton but am not partner track. Is it bad to admit I'm not looking to make partner? Will that hurt my promotion to manager chances? Do I need to tell him something more specific than "I want to make manager?"
I am so excited for my 2% annual raise!
Advice appreciated: my current firm is starting my gc process. But i got an offer for 50% salary increase + a rank promotion with another firm. I don’t know too much about their gc process but I have heard somewhat bad thing about it. Should I stay or leave?

My one year at first out of college job is coming up, despite conditions - should I still ask for a raise and a formal virtual performance review. (It is a small firm and they will avoid it if I don’t bring it up). The firm has been making the same if not more profits than they usually would. Thanks!
Why do I only get responses from MBB for any positions other than the traditional consultant? I’ve received interviews for Knowledge Analyst, Solution Specialist etc but I just want to be on a normal generalist track to partner 😅
