Hello,
This is my first post on this network, although I have been reading you guys silently for months!
I was wondering if anyone could share their experience about the L.E.K. office in Poland (Wroclaw).
I'm especially interested in the Life Sciences Specialist (LSS) position. I love the idea of living in Poland, but there is an offer for the same LSS position in the London office and wonder if this is a better option.
Thank you in advance for your time!

I am interested in finding out what the top 20% of comp plans are for this as well. I am 10 months into my transportation broker career. Currently on pace for $65kish. Seem pretty low when compaired to the work load, sales ability it takes and 3rd party systems knowledge needed to currently be at about 8 full truck loads and 2 ltl orders per day.
In complete transparency, I am currently at a $110k base with a commission payout of $40k-$60K annually, with $60k being my cap plus my car allowance of 8k per year.
I was offered a job at another forwarded as a BDM with a base of $160k plus an $8k car allowance with a commission payout of 15 percent gross after I beat my salary.
So I am wondering if other BDM can help with this question, and I guess my second question is it a good time to transfer jobs?
$160K Base for an individual contributor is Legit!! Unless this forwarder is a no-name/new player, I would jump on that right away!! We will never get there at Purple or Brown…
I’m hearing $250K OTE (NJ/PA), $120k-$140k base (including car) one of the forwarders mentioned a sign on bonus first year could be worth up to $20K
Just get crystal on the % of gross vs. % of GRATE and how they actually comp…with all the Fuel/Demand Surcharge games we’ve been through, none of deserve to get duped into the same deal elsewhere!! Good luck and Godspeed! Let us know how it shakes out!
$160K is a very legit base from a forwarder. It is a lower paying industry. I would think FedEx may offer more stability, but it depends on what forwarder we talking. If it’s the big guys, they been around for 100 years and you’ll be fine. I’ve recently turned down a key account management role paying $145K, $25K sign on, $8K car allowance, and potential for $50-$60K commission. I’m 10 years in healthcare packaging/logistics (4 of which were with this forwarder previously).
