What is the average salary range a 0-2 years experienced UX/UI designer should expect when asked for expected salary?

Currently an engineer in MCOL area with 4 years experience (post graduating, not counting experience before/during college and large side gigs). I have a BS/MS/PhD in engineering and an MBA in business analytics. Currently making 100k as an engineer IV. As an engineer with a functional knowledge (but no former training) in IT and data analytics, what are the best avenues to get to 200k without changing fields and starting at an entry level position (or moving to a HCOL area)?

Hello. I recently accepted a position as Assistant Nurse Manager at a busy Cancer Center in Brooklyn. I have leadership roles such as charge nurse over the 8 years I’ve been an RN so Ive never had an official management role. I have my BSN and OCN. The AVP agreed to match my current salary which is 6 figures because I refused to accept the salary he was offering for $5K less. When pushing for a tier promotion (level 2 to level 3), is there a best way to also say what I want to be paid? Or do I just accept the pay increase that the promotion brings and wait until an annual review to negotiate a new salary? The requirements for the level 3 include 4 YoE, with 6 YoE preferred. I’ll have 5 when I push for the promotion, so I’d want more than the base level of pay in the range.

Asking for honest opinions: many or most of us here have great jobs, a lot of perks, excellent salaries etc. Yet I see so many people complaining that they’re having to work more, or they’re not getting a bonus, or that they miss their perks etc.
I’m aware of special situations (e.g.. parents with small children) but come on - I was laid off in 2017 and it was one of the worst things that happened to me. Show some appreciation that you got to keep your excellent job so far.

Hope everyone is fine. I have a doubt to get clarified on it. My current CTC is 6.5L with 5 YOE working as Build & Release engineer. Recently I was offered onsite opportunity to Canada and it's in progress.

As of now they told me this is a 6M-1Y deputation and may extend in future. My concern is let's say in worst case if I return to India after 6M/1Y and when I start looking for job outside as Devops engineer what CTC i can put forward in the interviews for 6-7 YOE. Thanks !!

Company 1, no budge on base, yes to sign on bonus. Company 2, no budge on base, yes to sign on. Company 3, no budge on base, yes to sign on. Company 4, no budge on base or bonus. What happened to “1st offer isn’t the best”?

I have a job offer to work as a Senior PM in Omaha, NB at $180K plus $1200/m housing plus $750 travel/m and 15% bonus annually. I have never worked in US before and coming from Canada so can you guys comment on what you think about this offer? It will be for a Data Center construction. I have 15 years of experience with a professional engineer license and PMP certification.

I received an offer from a Series B startup that includes equity in the form of 25,000 warrants instead of ISOs or RSUs (which I have experience with). Has anyone come across this type of offer before? Are there pros/cons to consider when comparing warrants to ISOs/RSUs? Are warrants something to be cautious about?

Hello! I was recently contacted by tech recruiters for PMM roles and they both shared job descriptions for 12 months contract coming with a fixed salary. I was wondering if there would still be room for negotiations during interviews with hiring managers or these recruitment agencies are supposed to hire contractors within the budget.
