Another idea: find an advisor in the industry to learn from, make nothing to start out as you grow, then build a book from there.
Don't be another number.
Relatively nothing. Take a nominal salary, do the grunt work. Bet on your future self and learn the trade. Too many in this business just focus on how quick they can make big money.

In all seriousness, great that you're in a good spot for you and your clients. Lots of great folks at EdJ, keep up the good work.
EDJ’s process is 10 steps. The whole process usually takes about 6 week to get an offer. If you did each step the second it opened up, you might get done in a month.
I used to be on the hiring team at EJ before going independent. Agree with FA1, it’s 45 days at best. Normally 45-60 days.

Unceremoniously handcuffed? I’m only two years in, but I have no desires to ever go somewhere else. As much support as I’ve already received I am perfectly content with the business model.
