Apologies for typo: those are $ figures.
What CSO says. Though it could go up to a 210K-ish amount (ex bonus), that was a hard QSR account with a 9 people team (incl. of analysts that co-reported into me) and being thrown into every bit of new business coming in.

Strategy roles have the widest $ ranges of all agency functions in my experience. Huge variances for same title both within a single agency as well as across them.

There are a lot of variables that dictate that too. Are you a director for one account? Do you direct a team? Are you the director of a department?
@CSO, is that for London, or UK in general? OP was asking about NY, unless your phone defaults to pounds.
Also, if strategy directors could make 200,000 British pounds in London, you wouldn't see so many of them trying to make the move to the US.
Too fucking much

Says the guy who has no output except to “direct” a team with subjective feedback 😂

Totally depends on agency size.
It's a wide bracket that depends on experience and size of agency. Entry level in a small shop = £140k. Running an account with light management supervision in a big shop = £180-200k.
£ or $? Since this was a NY location question
