I would not suggest to go into federal consulting

I would counter D1 and encourage anyone with interest and qualifications to come to GPS. It's quite a different experience than many other ignorant people like to say. I work on fascinating policy focused projects and most people I work with are doing the same. The impacts are very evident and the culture within the practice is top notch. Dan Helfrich did a fantastic job and I'm happy to see what he'll do with the wider consulting practice.

As for your question, I imagine that any top 20 MBA would be a good start to get in the door. The government is a fascinating beast in need of good leadership. Good luck to you!

I am attracted to the job security and the 45 hour weeks.

If you’re dead set on an MBA you could do Georgetown with a concentration in consulting. University of Texas also has strong ties with their MBA with a business government concentration.

But like others have said on this post I’d take your talents elsewhere if you get an MBA.

Don’t waste your money on mba if you want to go into federal consulting

I was thinking Georgetown MSB would be a good choice.

Any place thatll pick up your clearance

I also wouldn't recommend federal, as a previous fed consultant matriculating to a FT MBA program. That being said: I see a lot of Georgetown McDonough grads in the space. I can't help but think that's more of a self-selection thing though - as stated before, any top program should suffice.

Get a certification (CPA, CFA, PMP) etc and a security clearance and you’re gold

When a job posting says 3-5 years of experience, does that mean a 3rd-5th year associate? Asking because there’s a bit of a discrepancy between the two, since if I graduated in May 2017, I’d be a third year associate this October, but only have two full years’ experience.

Should I stay in my role a bit longer to gain experience or I am not able to find remote or hybrid matching my profile. Your advice and comments are much appreciated.

Hey folks,
Recieved a mail from Nagarro for “what excites you”. I’m a front end developer, shall I just add my 3 interests for technology?
They also have option to set preferences for “Colleagues”, “Line of Business” & “Multi national team”. Is it fine if I just fill in tech preferences or do I need to fill the rest of them as well?

I'm currently an early PM at a small fintech startup and thinking of changing companies, but could use some advice.

1. If I want to be a tech PM in the future, would it be a bad idea to go into a different industry, like an ad or creative agency, for some time? Would it be harder to transition back to tech afterwards?

2. If you were at an early stage startup that doesn't have benefits set up yet, what % increase on top of the base salary would you want for total compensation?

I need some legit feedback on what is it like to be a UXD at companies like Accenture?
They claim to do a lot of research oriented designs, as everyone. But is that really the case or it's like some other service based companies where the UX is almost vague, and happens mostly based on what the managers think to be good?

Does UX have any value or it's just drafting wireframes based on ideations by the managers and then UI designs?
