Buy property.

Invest 50% in stocks for growth and good dividend. For rest 50% buy liquid MF, cryptocurrency and digital gold(split in these 3 as per ur risk profile) Then, take out money based on ur needs and profit generated from the crypto, liquid stocks and gold

If you're below 35 and the amount is all investable (you don't need this money to sustain yourself), then I would suggest the following: 1. 15 lacs in debt based MF. 2. 15 lacs in equity based MF. In this also, I would suggest splitting this into 4 buckets - US Equity MF, Large Cap MF, Small Cap MF, Index MF 3. 15 lacs in stocks. If you want to play it safe, you can buy large cap stocks at a good entry point. Alternative being, investing some amount in small caps for multi fold growth 4. 5 lacs in crypto and gold: for gold, my choice is usually SGBs and not digital gold but to each their own. For crypto as well, only consider BTC and ETH.

Ideally, divide the amount into FD, shares, it all depends on your lifestyle.

For those of you based in EU, with an MBA, what is a typical salary for a second year tech consultant? Yes, I’ve taken a look at Glassdoor :) Just curious if your answers will be the same or different

Hi everyone I attended interview at amazon at october ,on a loop interview of 4 rounds .my fourth one was scheduled but interviewer didnt turned up on the day i have been told it will be rescheduled but till i didnt get any update i have tried through mail and call no response ,so this means am out?

I'm happy in my role/salary, find it rewarding and the right work-life balance. My friends however, are talented and awesome so they've been rising up in their jobs and so, have a higher disposable income. When we go out especially on special occasions like trips/getaways, I'm starting to feel the pinch. They've been understanding and even give notice when it's a special occasion coming up where they want to splurge. If I don't go, it's fine but how do I spend time with them if everything is $$?

How much money would you need to retire early?

Bf is an analyst at a hedgefund in NYC with 4 years experience, he’s looking for an exit opp to another fund. Can provide more details offline, if anyone has any leads shoot me a message, thanks :)

TechGC members: what benefits have you gotten out of this group? It seems like a great networking resource, but I balked at the price tag without a tangible understanding of how useful it is.

Where do I report if the project expects me to work at 11:00PM almost every alternate day? I have health issues and had already communicated to the SM before joining to which they had said if your deliverables are done, no need to stay back. Shouldn’t the On-site team be taking meetings beyond 9/10?

Anyone know if corp dev positions hire out of MBA programs, and if they’d consider someone with corporate finance experience?

You like your project / team. You like your firm You are unsure about the work you are doing. You don’t want to be in consulting forever. Is it worth going to a boutique for a few years to gain more experience in a different area before exiting to industry, given it’s a 20%+ pay increase from current salary? Given I am 1-2 years from manager level.

Is it just me or does ORD need more bars or restaurants that serve alcohol?

I’ve heard the recruiting strategy at lots of firms is changing from MBA to experienced hires and PHDs. I see that is true at MBB but what about Big 4 and smaller firms?

Question regarding CRT: if my review is the week of May11, when will I find out if I'm laid off on not?
