Wanted to share smth I found recently. I felt like it was pretty darn accurate. I’ll provide the link here but there’s a screenshot I took that I feel I can relate to quite heavily. https://pairedlife.com/love/infatuations
I’ve struggled with so many heavy infatuations before and a friend recommended this. Hope it helps anyone else out there who’s gone through this or may be going through this right now.

Do you have any HR course experience? Have you looked into any internships? There are multiple paths to begin your career in HR by getting an HR Associate or HR Generalist gig.
Are you in Emporia KS? Your link didn't work. I tried to find you 🙂🙃. Re reach out direct to me Sherrie Stifter...I am the only one on LinkedIn 😂
The best way is to learn processes at a big company. With that, you should be able to start consulting.
I agree with this comment. Beginning this career in an already established company will teach you so many things. Best of luck!
Of course you first need to have a degree and look for internships. But id you already have, try to get certified. Join orgs and associations and try building your network. You try getting into other opportunities it will open up doors for you in the field of HR too.
A degree will really help you. Although it is not the only way if you have a degree, more opportunities will open. I'd suggest networking too.
To move forward in this line of work, you need at least a bachelor's degree in human resources. That will secure you a way to a potential promotion. More practical tips: At the beginning stages, it's often a lot more asking open ended questions (not yes or no questions) that get them talking and then being the active listener. Learn to dig deeper. Taking notes is fine, but you want to make sure you listen more than write. Take key notes, but listen and look. Even better if you have a dedicated note taker with you.
